The Aintree Advantage
Delivering to all of New Zealand MICO needed a strategically located distribution warehouse to service their 64 centers nationwide. Here an Aintree land & build package at Tidal Road in Mangere was the ideal solution.
Having earlier purchased two adjoining sites in the development phase of the Tidal Road precinct, Aintree amalgamated the two titles and developed this 9050m² site. This meant that the site gained access off two private roads which enabled a drive-thru breezeway canopy to be constructed. As a result, Aintree designed a 5,841m² warehouse with an impressive 65% site cover, not including the 1,330m² all-weather canopy.
After going to market with this land and build opportunity, Aintree worked with MICO to customize the design to suit their needs. This includes upgrading the warehouse stud height to an impressive 12.5m at the knee.
The project is currently under construction and is scheduled to finish mid-2024.
